A truly striking design by Simon Higlett, Racing Demon for the Theatre Royal Bath really is a beauty.

With the stage empty of flown pieces, trucks or props the flats themselves create a raw, bold, cathedral like setting to the show. These large looming flats are ever present and even have a life of their own with hidden light boxes to reveal a quotation and a stunning texture to the surfaces. This texture is carried through in the floor creating the perfect backdrop. Flown pieces include crafted panelled interiors, vandalised brickwork and even a large billboard.
