Son of a Preacher Man was a fantastic touring show built in our workshop in 2017 and is still currently touring.
The centrepiece, the building on the corner of a 2 streets in London, has many tricks up its sleeve. Morgan Large cleverly designed a set that is able to work in 2 time periods with the interior of the building (visible through large folding walls) changing from 60’s record shop to modern day sex store. Also discreetly hidden out of view are the band on the first floor of the building. All the brickwork was printed on a gauze material allowing the band to become visible to add to the visual aesthetic of the set.
It is always great to build touring shows that do well and Son of a Preacher Man has been one of them.
