Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em
UK Tour

Fantastically designed and developed in such a way that the set becomes a character in itself. By no means a static set, Splinter were tasked in producing a set that breaks, collapses, rips and even explodes. Due to the nature of the set and also that the show has multiple tour dates the construction had to be hardy, well built and more importantly designed well for quick resets and relocations to new venues.

Splinter were also asked to supply a head carpenter for the UK tour. This is always a fantastic opportunity for us to see how a set performs from venue to venue both for the audience and also for the stage crew. Due to this aftercare we have been able to further refine some of our methods of construction which in turn are filtered through to all of our builds.

“superbly supported by Simon Higlett’s terrific set, a house of cards complete with face-spraying plumbing, on-off lamps and shifty shelving”
